2017 Honda Activa 4G is the fourth upgrade from the HMSI in the country of its most selling scooter, the Activa.
After all other manufacturers going haywire with the launch of new products in the two-wheeler space as the motorcycles and scooters are being updated for 2017 which brings in new norms, Honda is also one of them. Honda has almost updated all their model, most of the news we brought you first here and today, the Honda surprise scooter has been spied and it is now called the 4G. We expect it to meet all new norms and continue to offer reliability and practicality to its audience with a new name and slightly revised scooter. We have the details you should know.
2017 Honda Activa 4G Design and Dimensions
Everything the remains when it comes to the panels and the design. The front headlight, the apron, the side panel and probably the rear will be left untouched. We don’t see a new color also in this picture either. Scooter continues with conservative and conventional styling and will end up pleasing most buyers. There are new reflector seen on the front suspension which is also a part of the BSIV emission and safety norms.
2017 Honda Activa 4G Chassis, suspension and brakes
The underbone chassis is seen on the scooter and sadly the same link type suspension at the front continues. The suspension makes for harsh ride quality and isn’t enthusiastic at all. Monoshock at the rear will also continue. Brakes are drum units at both ends and CBS will be now standard on the scooter.
2017 Honda Activa 4G BSIV Price and Launch
Launch should happen in March 2017 and prices will be the same as before which is around the Rs. 55,000 mark.

2017 Honda Activa 4G BSIV Engine And Specification
The 109cc engine will be BSIV compliant and will continue to make around 8.5 PS of power and 8.5 Nm of torque from its revised motor. We have seen Honda making changes to power figures to all its BSIV engines, Activa shouldn’t be an exception either.
2017 Honda Activa 4G Safety and Features
CBS will be standard on this scooter most likely. Feature list includes a slightly revised speedometer with faux carbon fibre finish.
2017 Honda Activa 4G Competition
The scooter goes against the likes of the highly successful and much better TVS Jupiter and Yamaha Alpha along with Hero Maestro.
