2016 Datsun redi-GO Sport India Launch Commences At Rs. 3.49 Lakhs with Olympic athlete Sakshi Malik
Datsun in India, owned by Nissan is making sure, as always to stay in the highlight. The brand is doing things to make sure they reach the farthest corners of the market. After launching the Datsun Go and GO+, which did not go well, the brand wants to make sure that the RediGo is a success. Based on the idea and platform of the Kwid, the car is set to get the volume the brand needs. RediGo is one such car as it set to be exported and sold in India.
Datsun redi-GO Sport gets changes on the outside such as contrasting black stripe running across the bonnet, roof and tailgate. Gloss black bezel around the grille that has a red-painted mesh can be seen at the front. Black-painted wheel covers with red accents highlight the side profile. The black roof spoiler along with another stripe stickered across the profile make the hatch look distinct. Datsun redi-GO Sport is available in three colors such as Ruby red, white and grey.
Datsun redi-GO Sport interior gets minor changes as well. The changes include an all-black interior with red accents on the steering wheel and HVAC vents. This make sure that the Datsun redi-GO Sport matches with the theme of the package that is seen on the outside of the car as well. Datsun redi-GO Sport this time gets features as well. There are rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity and remote keyless entry with the car in this sportier version.
Datsun redi-GO Sport technically and mechanically remains the same. The 799 cc three-cylinder petrol engine produces 53 BHP and 72 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Datsun redi-GO Sport has an fuel mileage of 25.17 km/l that has been certified by ARAI.
