2016 Hero Glamour iSmart 125cc BSIV Launch will take Hero to the next level as it is already the market leader in the segment and now offers a lot more with the bike

Hero is on a roll in the Indian market. It is launching promised products every year in bulks. It promised 15 products in both 2014 and 2015 and it has done the same promise in 2016. Hero full filled it by doing in the last two years and we are sure by March 2017 it will do it as well. One of the many products to hit the market include iSmart equipped motorcycles. Start-stop technology that saves fuel seems to be working for the brand. Hero is going to do it with all displacement categories of its motorcycles. The 125cc segment is where Hero rules and this new Glamour iSmart along with Super Splendor should strength it even more.

2016 Hero Glamour iSmart BSIV Design and colors

The design has been overhauled completely. The headlamp is large and a oval shaped unit. The tank is more beefed up, the tail-piece is similar and so are the side panels. There are similar looking decals as before to make Glamour continues catch the right attention. There are new colors on offer. Options include candy Blazing Red+Black, Black+Sports Red, Black+Techno Blue and Black +Tornado Grey while the fuel injected trim gets three colours options.

2016 Hero Glamour iSmart 125cc BSIV Chassis, suspension and brakes

Hero is using a single down tube frame this time with the motorcycle. Suspension units is the same. Telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic adjustable rear shocks with 5-step adjustability. Disc brake is being offered as an option. Expect good ride quality, load carrying capacity and much more from this bike. We expect this new generation bike to be lighter on when it comes to kerb weight.

2016 Hero Glamour iSmart 125cc BSIV Engine & Gearbox and Mileage

The Hero Glamour continues in two versions such as the carburetor and fuel injection. The air-cooled single cylinder, OHC engine makes 11.4 BHP @ 7500 RPM and Torque of 11 Nm @ 6500 RPM. This helps giving the new Glamour 27% added power and 6% more torque with further improvement in fuel efficiency 3% (carb.) and 7% (FI) over the previous motorcycle. The bike now accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 6.03 seconds with carburetor and 5.64 seconds with the Fi system.

For now auto head lamps (AHO) will be standard on the motorcycle. Part digital part analouge meters are here. They show solitary turn indicators, digital part shows odo and trip meters which has a service reminder. The normal tell-tale lights are here as well.
