2016 Hyundai Elantra India Launch is finally confirmed for India in the month September 2016. The car is all new one and will go against tough rivals
Hyundai as always, is on its schedule of launching either new cars or facelifts. This year is the year for Elantra. Last year we saw the Creta come in and sweep award, sales and fame from other manufacturers. The rivals for the Elantra are very serious and they will be rolling out their steeds in the market very soon too either in facelift form or brand new. Elantra has always enjoyed a huge success in this category as well. The car has proven its self and so is the brand by offering premium-ness in every segment and offering intense value for money. Old Elantra had some chinks in the armor but succeed by being best in the segment when it comes to sales. New one has been revealed worldwide and is now in India as well. 2016 Hyundai Elantra India – Engine, Gearbox and Mileage
Engine wise, we see the new 2.0 litre petrol engine making its début. The engine make 150 PS and the diesel will be the same like before. The 1.6 CRDI unit makes 128 PS and comes with automatic and manual options. Both gearboxes are be 6-speed units. The engines will be more efficient, powerful and low on emissions and NVH.

Design wise the most radical change is seen at the front. Much more substantial grille which Audi-ish makes its appearance on the car. The fancy and quirky headlights are a Elantra thing and they make it to this car. Side profile witness minute change and it is the rear like most Hyundai cars of new generation that get a distinctive look. Rear gets a very Sonata inspired look, something will be appreciated because Sonata isn’t available in India, making it more premium in design.

The new German dynamic capability tuning team is responsible for the Elantra and upcoming cars from the Korean brand. 2016 Hyundai Elantra India – Interiors and Features
New interior is improved over the already impressive one. The interior now looks more German in design and is more logically laid out. All of this is due to a large 5.0-inch touch-screen that makes it to the center of the dashboard. 8-inch screen for higher variants. All connectivity options such as Bluetooth, AUX, USB, SD Card and 1 GB storage will come with the car.
LED DRL, projector lights and much more Climate control, fully electric ORVM, day and night cabin mirror and much more is expected. Space in the front, rear and boot will also increase by a huge margin to make it best in class. Cruise control, leather seats, and new driving modes will make it to the car. Ventilated seats and sunroof are being offered as well.

Launch has commenced in the month of August 2016. Prices will start around the Rs. 14-15 lakh mark for the Verna and end at Rs.18-19 lakhs.
