2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Limited Edition is here to spice up the hatchback market with its proposition of subtle changes everywhere
Volkswagen Polo has to be the most popular hatch among urban buyers. The car offers quality, safety and driving dynamics for the enthusiast like no other in the segment. Getting this balance right isn’t a big deal for VW but still is for most manufacturers. Polo continues to be sold in the market every year with new refreshments. Last year we saw a new facelift coming in with new 1.5 diesel engine that made 90 PS and 105 PS in GT version. The fourth-cylinder was the highlight of the package. Today, after much teasing and announcements in the past, the AllStar is finally here. We have a look of what Volkswagen is offering this time.
2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Design And Dimensions
The major changes tot he AllStar edition includes a new set of very impressive looking alloy wheels. We can see the new blue color that we first saw on the Ameo here. Overall, everything else remains the same with the AllStar Polo. The bumper, lights and other aspects continue to be the same.
2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Interiors and Features
Apart from the regular long set of features that the normal Polo gets, the AllStar version AllStar badging on the windows, scuff plates, a mobile charger in the armrest at the front along with rear A/C vents. Interiors continue be high quality offering all types of connectivity options such as USB, AUX and Bluetooth. The new seat fabrics also follow theme of the new edition. Sporty pedals are also part of the package.
2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Engine, Gearbox and Mileage
The engine and transmission options are set to be the same. The 1.5 diesel with 90 PS tune and 1.2 GT Tsi with the 7-speed gearbox is going to make it to this edition. The 1.2 Mpi 3-cylinder petrol will also be a part of the list.
2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Launch and Price
Launched in November 2016. The price list is below as the pricing seems on par with competition despite offering a lot of segment first features. Top-spec variants have been chosen for this limited edition and prices are 30,000 higher than standard top-spec variants.

2016 Volkswagen Polo AllStar Safety Features
Polo AllStar Limited edition will continue to get all the safety features of the regular Polo. Dual Airbags with ABS along with EBD and ESP will be standard on all variants.
