2017 Hero Splendor Plus BSIV comes with AHO as well as it is now complies with all norms and will be able to be sold nationwide
The entire auto industry is yet again under fire from the bureaucracy of Indian government. The manufacturer were told in Feb 2016, to start making BSIV vehicles and start disposing of stocks nationwide. Some manufacturers complied and some did not. Hero was one of them and had 3.28 lakhs vehicles with BSIII emissions. The brand is now rolling out BSIV vehicles to dealerships as we speak and the vehicles will be sold with immediate basis. Super Splendor Plus is one of the fest Splendors to roll into the market in the early 2000’s. The motorcycle is back again with subtle changes all around to make sure they are all set to be sold. 2017 Hero Splendor Plus Design and Colors
Most of the panels remain the same on the motorcycle. The square and small headlight, the side panels, the fuel tank and alloy wheel design are identical as before. There aren’t much changes to the design. The tail-piece along with the tail-lamp are similar to as before.
The overall styling is of a typical commuter with a stance that supports comfort to the rider in every way. Colour options includes Candy Red, High Granite Blue, Cloud Silver, Palace Maroon, Black with Silver, Black with Purple Silver, Black with Purple, Purple Red and Excellent Blue.
217 Hero Splendor Plus Chassis, suspension and brakes
Tubular Double Cradle Type frame with telescopic forks at the front along with dual rear side shocks continue to be on offer. The brakes are drum units on both ends. Tyres are 18-inch wheels of 2.75 size at both ends of the bike.

Hero Splendor Plus BSIV Engine And Specification
The engine is the same as before which is the iconic 97.2 cc single cylinder motor that makes 8.36 PS power at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 5000 RPM. Engine is mated to an 4-speed gearbox. The motorcycle claims to have a maximum speed of 87 km/hr.

Don’t expect it to get ABS, CBS or Disc brakes before 2019. Feature list remains bare basic as before.
