2017 Honda Brio Facelift comes with an aggressive front-end design and the interior is the main highlight as it gets the new dashboard
Launched in Indonesia last year and after being showcased at the local Auto Expo as well, the Honda Brio facelift was bound to come to India. Honda’s Brio game has been weak after the launch itself as the prices were high and it was not being offered in a diesel guise. Honda is all set to change to bring updates to this new Brio which has been caught at dealerships in the past. Brio came in the year 2011. The Brio offers revised petrol engine with a new automatic gearbox. However, the main highlight is the all new interior, which is directly borrowed from the new Honda City. 2017 Honda Brio Facelift Engine, Gearbox, Automatic and Mileage
Engine wise, the 1.2l petrol engine here is back again and we expect minute changes to it to make sure it more efficient and driveable. The engine makes 88 PS of power and 109 Nm of torque. 5-Speed manual is being continued to be offered. 18.5 km/ l and 16.5 km/l is the mileage for manual and automatic gearbox respectively. Automatic remains torque convertor and not a CVT
2017 Honda Brio Facelift Design and Dimensions
The design largely continues to be the same on the outside. The front-end gets a new grille along with new bumpers at the front. Headlamps remain the same and so does the tail-lamps at the rear. The new LED tail-lamps are set to be new when it comes to the ‘illumination’. Rear continues to be the same with a large glass area and has no rear-wiper wash on the VX variant as well. The new Brio is set to be available in 5 colours such as Taffeta White, Alabaster Sliver, Urban Titanium, Rally Red and White Orchid Pearl.

2017 Honda Brio Facelift Interiors and Features
Interiors finally are the highlight of the Brio. The dashboard now is clearly lifted from the Amaze and Honda City units that also get the same units. The steering wheel is also the same and the major highlight are the dials which also come from the new Facelifted Amaze. Features set includes connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Aux and USB. Electric ORVM and climate control make it to the list. Steering mounted audio and telephony controls are also seen on the car.

2017 Honda Brio Facelift Safety Features
All the variants of the Brio still doesn’t get dual airbags as standard on all variants along with ABS and EBD. Only on higher variants. Sadly we still do not get the rear wash-wiper. Seat Belt Pretensioner with load limiters and Impact mitigating headrests. The front body structure of the Brio is equipped with Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology designed to absorb impact energy.
