2017 KTM 1190 Adventure will have three new model in the range and the new one is more road-focused along with two off-road variants as before
KTM is on an aggressive streak worldwide. The Austrian manufacturer is making sure it revives the market share it lost years ago with the new bike that it is introducing. KTm assures every single bike will be far better in every way. The reliability to safety and the performance, all will improve. To take things forward on that part it is revamping all old motorcycles and introducing new motorcycles. The Super Duke R and Super Duke GT and Adventure based on the 1290 took the markets worldwide by storm. This is what the plan is with the new and upcoming 1190 motorcycles. 2017 KTM 1190 Adventure Design and Dimensions
When it comes to design, the motorcycles will continue to large and intimidating. The front windscreen will be taller as it can be. Headlights are taking inspiration from the Super Duke R. Minimalist rear tail-piece and a large fuel tank along with huge side panels make it to the new bike. There are air scoops on the same side panels which should improve efficiency and aerodynamics. Tall and beefy stance overall should make it help do what it is meant to do.
2017 KTM 1190 Adventure Launch and Price
Launch will happen in mid 2017 and it will first showcased at the EICMA which is set to happen in the year November 2016. US prices will be around $14-15,000
KTM 1190 Adventure R Chassis, suspension and brakes
Adventure motorcycle like this one gets a flat seat, linked rear-suspension, spoke wheels, dual purpose tyres, larger front-wheel, smaller rear wheel. Chassis will continue to be the same trellis unit and suspension at the front be large 50 mm USD WP forks. Brakes will be the same 320 mm dual disc setup at the front and 260 mm at the rear with dual piston. Front brakes will have four-piston calipers.

2017 KTM 1190 Adventure R Engine, Gearbox and Specification
The engine will be continue to be the same 1195cc engine but it will be heavily revised to make more power and torque. We expect it to make 150 BHP and 120 Nm of torque. Engine will be mated to an 6-speed gearbox. The engine will be more refined, efficient and will meet emission norms. Hopefully the NVH levels should decrease and will help the road-going model in clocking more miles comfortably.
