2017 KTM Duke 390 India Road Testing Begins, Spotted For the First Time will be launched in mid 2017.
MEGA UPDATE: A complete walkaround video of the 2017 KTM Duke 390 model has surfaced. The model showcases the use of the new mobile type instrument cluster and new exhaust system. KTM is sadly testing this bike with the Michelin tyres which are good not that great as the Metzeler. What is more on offer are the new RIDING MODES that can be seen. There could be traction control along with cornering ABS that could make it to this bike this around. A new saree guard along along the new headlight inspired from the SuperDuke also make it to this bike. We cannot wait for it to launch. BMW G310R should be scared? Yes sir!
KTM is launching new motorcycles in every segment isn’t an exclusive news anymore! The Austrian manufacturer will launch motorcycles in every segment worldwide and compete with the competition. Right from adventure bikes to naked motorcycles. Motorcycles will come in all shapes and sizes.
The new big motorcycle launch began with the SuperDuke R and then came the Adventure and then came the Super Duke GT. However, before all of that came the new 125, 200 and 390 cc motorcycles that were made in India with Bajaj at the Chakan Plant. The motorcycles were instant success thanks to segment best performance, mouth watering prices and cost of maintenance and running wasn’t high either.
Today, that idea is changing as the emission norms are set to change and so will the automotive industry. KTM announced all new motorcycles based on the same idea as before. Yes, the 125, 200 and 390 motorcycles will be refreshed completely and will be all new motorcycles made from the scratch. We have seen these motorcycles spotted inside the factory gates couple of months back and spotted testing worldwide.

However, road testing has finally begun and we can see the new motorcycles testing in India for the first time. On the outside roads of Pune, the motorcycle has been seen spotted. The large tank extensions along with a multi-color swingarm (orange and white) can be seen. The new tablet inspired clocks can also be seen.
The rear will be all new and there is a new exhaust as well. We expect the engine to change entirely and provide the riders with more refinement and power. The chassis will be similar as before and provide agile handling and nimbleness when piloting the bike in the city and also provide stability at highway speeds.
