2017 Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition comes with a host of cosmetic changes to make sure it stands out
Suzuki has launched the Access 125 special edition scooter in two new paint schemes. The Suzuki Access 125 now will be offered in Matte Fibroin Grey and Metallic Matte Black. The scooter is said to carry the same features that are on the currently sold model.
The special edition Access 125 features chrome headlamp cover, chrome finished mirrors, special edition logo, black alloy wheels and grab rails compared to the standard model. The current outgoing Suzuki Access 125 model was introduced in March 2016 while the special edition model came few moths later in September 2016.
The current outgoing special edition model is only available in Pearl Mirage White with Brown colour inner body. The special edition model with new paint schemes will get black colour inner body panel. The Suzuki Access 125 will share its engine from the existing Suzuki Access 125 which is a 124 cc single cylinder engine.
The CVT helps the engine to return a best in class fuel economy of 64 km/l. The power mill produces 8.7 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. Braking duties are carried out by drum units at both the ends and an optional disc is also offered by the company to the buyers.
The scooter weighs around 102 kg and carries a ground clearance of 160 mm. The Suzuki Acess 125 special edition has a seat height of 780 mm, and the fuel tank can store up to 5.6 litre of petrol. The Suzuki Access 125 measures 1,870 mm in length, 665 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height, and it has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm.
Other systems remain the same including analog digital instrument cluster, Suzuki easy self start system, under seat storage, dual luggage hooks, one press central lock system and a mobile charging point and now comes with maroon colour seat cover.
Suzuki India has priced the Suzuki Access special edition for INR 55,868 for the drum brake variant and INR 59,063 for the disc brake version. (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).
