2017 Toyota Corolla Altis Facelift has been launched is devoid of base variants in both petrol and diesel options
Toyota as a company is known worldwide for making small, hybrid and premium cars. It wanted to capture the Indian market by small car sales but that did not go well. Toyota realized and start working on a premium image of the brand and decided to launch every product in the C segment category on-wards and we see the new Innova Crysta and the Fortuner are here.

Today, it is time to give it a facelift in the verge of the rising competition and facelift tenure coming down than usual. Corolla Altis facelift pictures were revealed by company worldwide couple of months ago. We give you a detail look at this new D segment sedan has just been launched.
Corolla Altis Facelift Engine, Gearbox and Mileage
The engines that are the same as before. Petrol 1.8 litre churning around 140 PS of power with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT gearbox that will have paddle shifters has made it to the car. Diesel continues to be the under-powered unit which makes 89 PS of power from the 1.4 litre unit. Drive modes have made it to the petrol motor.
Corolla Altis Facelift Design and Dimensions
The Corolla Altis has matured very well and here it look great with a new grille and futuristic head lamps. The tail lamps are quite European and the rear is now more fluidic thanks to the new 3D bumper design. The grille at the front is new as well. Toyota is known for making facelifts interesting and this continues with the legacy. Side profile remains identical and it will get new alloy wheels to make things look fresher and sportier. New Phantom Brown makes it to the color pallet along with existing White Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Mica Metallic, Champagne Mica Metallic, Grey Metallic, Super White and Celestial Black are on offer.
2017 Toyota Corolla Altis Facelift Interiors and Features
We see similar interior as before with slightly designed dashboard and materials used will be same as before which are high quality. Fit-finish is good and the current generation car is already extremely good on quality than the previous one. Also, a newly designed Instrument Panel with Soft Touch Dashboard along with new interior colour has been refreshed to flaxen.
Parking sensors, cameras, electric ORVMs, Touch-screen unit, connectivity options, dual zone climate control, leather seats, electric seats, touch screen unit, automatic wipers and headlights are here. Feature list also includes Advanced Bi-beam LED Headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL), new LED Tail Lamp and new alloys. Autofold and reverse linked ORVM and rear reclining seats continue to be part of the package.
Corolla Altis Facelift Chassis, suspension and wheels
Mc pherson struts at the front and torsion beam at the rear with a monocoque chassis is the ideal setup for any sedan. Disc brakes will been seen all around. Ventilated disc at the front and solid discs at the rear. 15-inch wheels will be seen on lower variants and higher variants will get 16-inch wheels.
