2017 TVS Wego BSIV is all set to meet emission and safety norms that come in the year 2017 and 2019 respectively with these new updates

TVS motor now is all set to make sure their lineup is BSIV compliant after all other competitors are finished with such as Honda and Bajaj. TVS motor wants to begin this with the Wego, the most popular and high selling model which seems to be ready with all the changes required. As usual, the company has thrown in new changes to make sure the scooter is identified as a 2017 model and the list is with us. Let’s have a look how the popular scooter just got better and what it already had in the first place to make it a compelling package despite stiff competition.

2017 TVS Wego BSIV Design and Dimensions

The two new colours are Metallic Orange and T-Grey that are available for the scooter in the year 2017. The overall panel design and other bits remain the same. The scooter continues to get LED tail-lamps, large wheels to boost stance and the smart colors provided for 2017 and existing colors make sure it stands out as a 2017 model.

Underbone chassis with telescopic suspension at the front, side monoshock at the rear along with 12-inch wheels on both ends with improved TVS tyres make sure the TVS Wego does handle well on twisty roads, bad roads and provide great ride on smooth roads as well.

Priced at Rs. 50,434 (Ex-Showroom Delhi), the refreshed range of TVS WEGO will be available showrooms across the country.

2017 TVS Wego BSIV Engine And Specification

The engine continues to be the same air-cooled 2-valve motor which makes 8 PS of power and 8 Nm of torque. The Wego is known for superior rideability, best in class fuel-efficiency of 62 km/l. The motor is mated to an CVTI gearbox which puts the power down to the ground. The motor is refined, powerful and reliable as proven over the past half a decade. 2017 version includes the scooter meeting the BSIV emission norms.
