From quite some years, the sports touring motorcycle segment has been booming and the much awaited Bajaj Dominar was launched in India back in December 2016. With this a new more affordable sports tourer with a powerful engine was available for the masses. Since then, the Bajaj Dominar has been loved by many and it has got quite a few updates since its first launch.

Well, this is the second update in this consecutive year, earlier in 2018 Bajaj had updated the Dominar 400 with new paint schemes, some visual updates and a gold dust alloy wheel. Since its first launch in December 2016, Bajaj has offered some changes and it also almost increased the price by Rs 10,000 in comparison with the price it was first launched.
The Dominar 400 is Bajaj’s most powerful motorcycle from its stable and powering it is a 373cc four-stroke, fuel injected, water cooled, petrol engine which is mated with six speed gearbox. This engine generates 34.5bhp of power and 35Nm of twist.
As of now the new Bajaj Dominar 400 competes head-on with the Mahindra Mojo, Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Thunderbird 350X in the Indian market. With the launch of the new Dominar 400, Bajaj hopes to further increase the sales of this sports tourer.
