2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pick-up launched as the popular car gets a makeover to keep it appealing in the market
The ISUZU D-Max V-Cross was India’s first proper adventure utility vehicle when launched way back in May 2016. It’s muscular profile, distinct design and its imposing bodywork created quite a stir in the market. ISUZU had no idea that this vehicle could gather so much attention in the country. It was met with a warm response and potential buyers already had them pre-booked.
Now for 2018 ISUZU wants to keep the V-Cross fresh in the market so they gave it a mid-life update and launched the 2018 edition of the V-Cross. Its launch took place on 15th January in Chennai. For 2018 it is available in two new variants, High and Standard. The price for the High variant starts at Rs. 15,76,240 while the Standard variant is quoted at Rs. 14,26,241 both prices ex-showroom, Chennai.
Apart from a long feature list there is also a new colour option to choose from. The new Ruby Red paint joins the already existing range of colour options which include Orchid Brown, Cosmic Black, Titanium Silver, Obsidian Grey and Splash White.
Speaking of features and there are quite a few. The 2018 V-Cross gets Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and newly added Traction Control which not only make it more safer but also more fitting for those tough off-road expeditions. Daytime running lights (DRL’s) and LED tail lamps have been added to make sure that you don’t run out of illumination.
Convenience and comfort bits like Auto-cruise control and 6-way Power Adjustable Driver’s seat are also included in the V-Cross’s impressive repertoire. Practical bits like the newly added Rear View Camera will prove of great help while parking the big ISUZU in tight parking spaces. To amp-up the interiors ISUZU has equipped the V-Cross with dual tone interiors and Black leather seats.
The ISUZU D-Max V-Cross has always made a strong case for itself with its highly capable 4WD system, practical storage space and a large deck and also modern equipment and features to boast of, couple that with its durability, tough built quality and good fuel efficiency and you get a complete package. The 2018 version hopes to take it further in good measures.
