Jaguar worldwide is on a roll. This statement seems now like an understatement. Just like Volvo, which has risen from the underground and now wants to target every single segment, JLR has been doing the same. To take on every segment Jaguar has a line of a sports car, saloons and now racing to compete against its rivals. Jaguar despite having Land Rover with them, have decided to come up with an SUV of their own with a Jaguar badge on the grille. Jaguar F-Pace is one of them and the new SUV has already won hearts worldwide. The SUV has come to India, been a good success and now it delivers more value as it is locally manufactured.
The Jaguar F-PACE is a performance SUV that also comes with features including Adaptive LED Headlights, Activity Key, Wi-Fi Hotspot & Pro Services and 25.91 cm (10.2) Touch Screen. With premium features such as Rear Recline Seats, Four-Zone Climate Control, 380 W Meridianâ„¢ Sound System and Configurable interior mood lighting (with 10 colours), one can enjoy the thrilling performance of the F-PACE in supreme comfort and leisure.
Jaguar F-Pace is all-new SUV with aluminum used for making this is new vehicle. Interiors are all new in design, finish, and quality. Expect all the bells and whistles in the car. For Example, the R-Sport gets a different body kit, LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, mood lighting. Mechanically the R-Sport gets larger front brakes. There is also a gesture-control tailgate, front seats with memory option, electric-adjust for the steering column, reclining rear seat. Infotainment option includes a larger InControl Touch Pro infotainment system and a 360-degree camera system. The limited Edition called the ‘First Edition’ adds a panoramic sunroof, Meridian audio system, Windsor leather upholstery, and 20-inch alloy wheels to the package that was launched last year. Prices for higher spec variants are not announced yet.
The engines are the new lightweight all-aluminum 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine that makes 177 BHP and 430 Nm. The Jaguar F-Pace does 0-100 km/hr in 8.7 seconds with the 2.0-litre diesel. The top speed of the 2.0 liter is 208 km/hr. The 3.0-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, churns out 296 BHP and 700 Nm. The 3.0 liter does 0-100 km/hr sprint in just 6.2 seconds flat. Top speed is rated at 241 km/hr. Both these diesel engines are mated to quick shifting ZF 8-speed automatic transmission seen on most vehicles in the market today.
