2019 Bajaj CT100 CBS launched. The most affordable bike gets CBS as part of compliance and still remains affordable.
In compliance with the new safety norms, Indian bike maker Bajaj Auto has launched updated versions of its CT 100 in the Indian market. According to the new norms, two-wheeler having a capacity less than 125 cc are required to feature combined Braking System (CBS) while the bikes with 125 cc or more capacity must have an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as a standard part of the equipment. Bajaj has equipped CT100 with CBS and its price now ranges between Rs 33,352 and Rs 41,787.
The budget offering of Bajaj, i.e., CT 100 is available in a total of three variants. The basic version with wire spoke-wheel is priced at Rs 33,352 while kick-start version with alloy wheels comes at Rs 36,136. The top of the line alloy wheel with electric start variant has been priced at Rs 41,787. If we compare these prices with prices of corresponding ongoing versions, all three variants have got costlier by around Rs 1000.
Stacking new prices against the older ones, one finds a difference of Rs 838 and Rs 2,016 for the drum and disc versions of new and old versions respectively. Just so you know, Bajaj has recently updated its other bikes, i.e., Platina 100 and Discover 110 and 125 range with CBS to comply with new safety norms.
