2019 Bajaj Discover 110 ASB now complies with the safety norm at a cost of Rs. 550 over the normal version that is set to be discontinued
April 1 2019 is the time when all motorcycles get ABS or CBS as standard and it is not far away. Every manufacturer is launching these products in the market to comply with the new safety norms. Nevertheless, the non CBS and ABS will be discontinued from the Indian market. Bajaj is also one of them and upgrading most of the Pulsar and Avenger series with ABS. The manufacturer has launched the Discover 110 ASB aka Anti Skid Braking which is Bajaj’s speak for CBS aka Combined Braking System.
The manufacturer has rolled out the product to dealerships with a mere increase of Rs. 550 over the previous ex-showroom price which now stands at, 66,620 on-road Mumbai. The motorcycle was launched early last year and was heavily revised to bring back sales magic which the Discover managed years which slowed down over the last few years. The Discover 110 uses a 115cc engine which makes 8.6 BHP of power and 9.6 Nm of torque which is segment best and ends up delivering 75 km/l as real life fuel-efficiency.
