The single channel equipped Bajaj Pulsar 220 has been launched in the market silently for now. 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 220 ABS comes before the April 2019 deadline by the government which implies for all two wheelers above 125cc. The manufacturer has rolled out prices to select dealers who are now expecting bookings and shipping out handful of units of the showroom. The pricing is now quite high for the Pulsar 220.
Nevertheless, five years is the peace of mind as the only cost left to spend apart from service and fuel is the PUC renewing every six month. Five year insurance has its benefits in the long run as it provides for the vehicle and the driver owner (check your insurance policy well). The motorcycle continues with the same carburetor equipped 2-valve, oil-cooled motor making 21 PS of power and 19 Nm of torque.
The power is concentrated in the low and mid range and the bike has a genuine top speed of 140 km/hr. The mileage is rated around 30-35 km/l. The kerb weight stands at 155 kgs now. The ex-showroom price is 1.02 lakhs Mumbai. The prices have been out since the last two weeks and that’s when the bookings have started.
