Bajaj has revised the price list for their entire motorcycle line-up and that’s only gone up the scale. This price-hike is a result of increase in the manufacturing cost. The entire array of Pulsar and Avenger variants has gone through a price hike ranging from 1 percent to a whooping 5 percent. Of this altered price-list, most of the bikes stay around 1 per cent and only the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon, the Pulsar 150 Classic and the Dominar 400 get a hike of 5 percent and more. +
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic has gone from Rs. 71,200 to Rs. 75,200 and the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon has gone from Rs. 71,200 to Rs. 75,200 while the least price hike is for the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc with an increase of Rs. 999. The aforementioned bike used to retail for Rs. 89,837 and now has a sticker price of Rs. 88,838. That’s a hike of 1.12 percent. The Dominar 400 will now sell for Rs. 1,90,000 and will make you shed Rs.10,000 extra compared to the older sticker price.
For the Avenger line-up, all the three models- The Street 160, Street 220, Cruise 220 have received a hike ranging from 1.15 percent to 1.21 percent. The Street 160 has gone from Rs. 82,253 to Rs. 83,251 and the elder siblings, the Street 220 and Cruise 220 are now priced at Rs. 1,05,088. Both the bikes were priced at Rs. 1,03,891 and the hike is of 1.15 percent.
Bajaj has also claimed that the prices will change in the near future and will go up by at least 10-15 percent. This is being done for the BS6 compliancy with the deadline of 1st April 2020 and Bajaj is already working on the Avenger models while the Pulsar line-up is on the charts.
