2019 FZ 16 Spied With ABS Spotted Days Before Launch has a huge weight on its shoulder to be more powerful as cost cutting is already evident

Somebody has spied the new FZ16 with ABS going under test for the first time completely undisguised at a dealership somewhere in the country. This could be a more powerful 2019 FZ16 With ABS. Yamaha wants to make the ABS implementation count, hence it is making some other changes as well. Yamaha does road test its bike before putting out, unlike its rivals which do not do the same. However, we can see and believe that this could be a facelift with a new dual pod layout of the headlamp. The most obvious change can be seen here is the tank extension is like its bigger sibling and introduction of single piece seat just like the V 1.0.

If you look closely in the blurry pictures, there is a hint of the ABS module on the front wheel. The picture do not show anything about the rear wheel as it is not visible due to low quality pictures. We believe if this could come with a bit more power, it can reply to its rivals which are seriously overpowering the FZ16, which was the first to start this sporty 150cc segment with big bike pedigree visible in aesthetics. 15 BHP and 13 Nm Yamaha, please?.

Pricing should go up by Rs. 10,000. The engine should stay the same at 149cc with 2-valve, air cooled layout which is fuel-injected. We expect significant more power as the chassis can take so much more. Stay tuned more details as they follow. Expectations are quite high with the V3, will Yamaha deliver?
