2019 Yamaha FZ ABS Range Launched. The FZ16 is the most expensive single channel ABS bike in market with a 13,000 increase while FZ25 gets 14,000 extra for dual channel

Yamaha continues to launch the highly awaited ABS series of motorcycles in the 150cc category where it already has had a good market share. The manufacturer has just launched them and the prices are quite expensive than all its rival for both dual and single channel offering on both bikes, the FZ-16 and FZ-25 respectively. The FZ-16 continues to be a lack luster as it is now the most expensive 150cc bike in the street fighter category and is also very expensive at the same time. The Suzuki Gixxer continues to be segment benchmark if you want an 150cc premium Japanese bike. Segment leader is the Apache RTR 160.

Yamaha says fueling has changed a bit on the FZ-16 and the new subframe accommodate public demanded single piece seat on the FZ-16 has been done. Power and torque stands at 13 PS of power and 12.8 Nm of torque. The gearbox is also a 5-speed unit. Cosmetic changes include a new headlamp with LED’s in them an new exhaust, tank scoops and color schemes. The instrument cluster comes with certain changes. Yamaha FZ is priced at Rs. 95,000/- and Yamaha FZ-S ABS is priced at Rs. 97,000/- (all prices ex-showroom).

The FZ25 on the other hand offers nothing new except for dual channel ABS. There are new color schemes on offer. FZ25 ABS and the Fazer 25 ABS get dual-channel ABS. They are priced at Rs. 1.33 lakhs and Rs. 1.43 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom) respectively. The 250cc series of the bike continue to be the same as they are single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that outputs 20.3 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 20 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM.
