2020 BS6 Kawasaki W800 is back and how. When the motorcycle came to the Indian market charmed the motorcycling industry with its modern-retro look and simplicity. However, the only flaw was that it was expensive than the best bike in that category, the Triumph Street Twin, which sold at 7.45 lakhs. The Kawasaki W800 was priced at 7.99 lakhs which made it tad bit expensive. The segment customer did not mind that much and the first lot sold of well within enthusiasts.
Post that Kawasaki India did feel the hit, it was shut down for some time and now its back undercutting the Triumph Street Twin making it a tastier proposition than before. The new price is 6.99 lakhs, which is Rs 1.0 lakh cheaper than before and Rs. 45,000 cheaper than the Triumph Street Twin! The BS6 hasn’t had much change when it comes to powertrain and looks. Sure, the 2020 version which was seen at EICMA last year had some changes which we have told you earlier about. There are new MRF tyres on the bike to control costs on the 2020 BS6 Kawasaki W800. You get 18-inch wheels on both end, LED lamps at both end, slipper clutch and retro dials with a LCD screen for information on trip and other data.
