2020 Tata Tiago Facelift Spied With Digital Cluster should add more value and zing to the package
The best-selling hatchback from the house of Tata Motors, the Tiago is all set to get a facelift this year. The car has been spied testing and gives away the glimpse of a fully-digital instrument cluster that will become part of the equipment on the upcoming model. Renault Kwid, which competes against the Tata Tiago, has already got the feature of the digital instrument cluster and this could be a point of inspiration for Tata Motors to come up with the same kind of feature for Tiago.
2020 Tata Tiago Facelift instrument cluster, as spied on the testing model, has got the rpm meter and fuel-level indicators set on the sides. The information displayed by the cluster includes the current speed of the car, reading of the odometer, and information related to the mode the car (City/Eco) among others. According to the speculation, the same digital instrument cluster will also be offered on the facelift Tigor which is expected to come into the market in early 2020.
Tata is also expected to refurbish interiors with new trim and upholstery. In accordance with the latest safety regulation norms, the features like a driver-side airbag, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminders, speed alert system, central locking with manual override, speed warning, and ABS will be the standard on new Tiago. The changes in the exteriors could possibly include redesigned front fascia, new alloys, and LED DRLs.
2020 Tata Tiago Facelift will feature the BS-VI compliant 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder petrol engine capable of putting out 86PS and 114Nm. The diesel, on the other hand, will be BS-IV compliant 1.05-liter churning 71PS/140Nm. Diesel motors will not be upgraded to BS-VI and will be discontinued in 2020. Tiago has been quite a sales churner for the Tata Motors and new model is expected to continue with legacy of outgoing model.
