India’s prominent bike maker Bajaj Auto is expected to come with new generation variants of Pulsar 125 150 and 200 next year. The 2022 variants of these bikes will be based on the platform used by the F250 and N250 models that have recently made their debut in the Indian market. It is important to note that the Managing Director of the company, Rajiv Bajaj had already revealed in the month of August earlier this year that the launch of the new generation of Pulsar 125 150 and 200 would follow the introduction of 250cc Pulsars in the market. And now after F250 and N250 have made their debut, new generation Pulsar 150 and 200 is expected to come to showrooms soon in future.
At the launch of 250cc Pulsars, Rajiv Bajaj stated that the launch of the new generation Pulsars was in consideration and hence, it can be safely assumed that these bikes will make their way into the Indian market in 2022. The current range of Pulsar bikes comes in different models with varied cubic capacities. Apart from Pulsar 125, 150 and 180, Pulsar also comes in 220F, NS125, NS160, NS200, and RS200 avatars. Adding to the list is the recently launched F250 and N250 models with both models displacing 250cc of the engine capacity.
Looking at the sales criteria, the survival of the Pulsar 180 and 220F is unlikely though expect the Pulsar 125 to come back with a bigger bang given its appeal among young customers. 2022 Pulsar 150 could look similar to N250 naked while 2022 Pulsar 200 is expected to draw inspiration from F or N 250 in terms of styling. In addition to design updates, these new models will also feature updated instrument clusters and tweaked engine settings for better performance and mileage.
