Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) announces the launch of its highly anticipated off-roader Jimny at a very high starting price of INR 12,74,000. The Jimny will be available for deliveries starting today across all NEXA showrooms in the country. With 4×4, all variants get six airbags and ladder on frame and a 1.5l engine, this is the best Maruti could do. However, expectations were around the Rs 9.99 mark.
The Jimny (5-door) will be available in Zeta and Alpha variants with Automatic and Manual transmission choices. It boasts of a strong body frame built with its upright A-pillars, and a flat clamshell bonnet offers a commanding view out of the cabin, allowing drivers to conquer challenging terrain.
