As a global automaker, Ford is all set to make a comeback in India, some of the expected ranges have started attracting a lot of attention ahead of their official launch. Among them, the rugged ‘Ranger’ pickup was recently spotted on set, showing off the overall look of the road and hinting at how it might look in the future. The Ranger has been spotted along with the upcoming Endvaour, which is expected to reach Indian shores around 2025. However, Ford is yet to make an official announcement regarding the same.
It is known that both models were arrested on the outskirts of Chennai.It comes in white, sports big alloy wheels, thick cladding on the sides and a cargo area at the rear. The car has been making waves in the international market, both gasoline and diesel versions. It is said that the Ranger has somehow captured the right market there, creating stiff competition for pickup trucks in the same segment. If launched in India, it will compete with Toyota Hilux and Isuzu D-Max.
Pick up vehicles are capable of carrying large loads in the back while performing tasks with ease.This model also has a Raptor variant, equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine, generating a decent capacity of up to 284 horsepower.
