The 2024 Maruti Dzire is making headlines by scoring top marks in the NCAP International crash test. It is important to note that the car was sent for safety testing by the company and it has aced the test. The manufactuer is set to launch the car on 11’th November.
Thus, the new Dzire received a five-star safety rating and became the first Maruti car to receive the highest star rating from GNCAP. It scored 31.24 out of 34 in the adult passenger test and 39.20 out of 49 points in the child passenger test.
Apart from that, the body of New Maruti Dzire is said to be stable and able to withstand the stresses. The test unit comes standard with airbags, ABS and EBD, ESC, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminder system and speed warning system. For those who don’t know, the last generation Dzire scored two stars in the NCAP International crash tests.
Global NCAP is a major programme of the Towards Zero Foundation, a UK based charity working internationally in support of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, with a goal of halving road deaths and serious injuries by 2030.
