Tata Motors today announced the launch of the new avatars of Safari and Harrier. With significant design changes and addition of several technologies, both the new Safari and Harrier substantially enhance the overall experience to set new standards for the industry. Pricing is higher substanially over the previous cars leave alone the limited editions that were launched for an entire year, the pricing does seem justified because of the extensive revision of interior, quality, technology and safety features on offer. However, these prices are still lower than the XUV 700 and on par with other rivals such as the MG Hector, Mahindra ScorpioN and Hyundai Alcazar also to a certain extent.
Certified with the prestigious GNCAP 5-star rating, the new Safari and Harrier come with the unique distinction of securing the highest score by an Indian car for adult occupant protection (33.05/34) and child occupant protection (45.00/49), making them the safest vehicles to run on Indian roads.
