Hero has been diligently updating its lineup to meet OBD-2B standards, and the latest update for the Super Splendor Xtec follows closely on the heels of updates made to the Passion Plus and Splendor Plus. As with those, the modifications here are minimal and primarily focus on emission compliance.
The Super Splendor Xtec is equipped with an OBD-2B compliant, air-cooled, single-cylinder 124.7cc engine that delivers 10.8hp and 10.6Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. While it builds on the design of the standard Super Splendor, the Xtec variant offers enhanced features, including an LED headlight and a fully digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity. Hero provides the Super Splendor Xtec in two variants—Drum and Disc—priced at Rs 88,128 and Rs 90,028, respectively. Notably, the prices for the Super Splendor have seen a rise of Rs 2,000.
