Mercedes-AMG C43 India launch is the last launch for the company in the calendar 2016, the car is the most accessible performance sedan in its class
C-Class is a line of compact executive car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, the C-Class was introduced in the year 1993, since then it has been marketed world-wide with various models under the C-Class portfolio.The year 2016 has been a busy year for the Merc’s releasing 12 products which includes 2 AMG models, the AMG GLE 43 Coupe and the AMG SLC 43 were launched. Today 14 December 2016 Mercedes-Benz revealed the 13TH product launch for the year 2016 at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. The Mercedes-AMG C43, which is the third AMG product by Mercedes-Benz for the year 2016.The AMG C43 model belongs to the C-Class portfolio.
A twin turbo 3.0 litre V6 producing 357 BHP and 520 Nm of torque mated to 9G-TRONIC gearbox powers the new AMG C43. The AMG C43 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The AMG C43 gets larger intakes on the front, larger AMG Spec wheels, the rear gets a subtle lip spoiler on the boot lid and a inbuild diffuser. The typical AMG quad exhaust setup is found at the rear. On the whole the exterior design makes the car to get an aggressive stance. The Mercedes-AMG C43 comes with 5 different driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Eco and Individual. Other AMG-exclusive features offered with the car include AMG Sports suspension system and AMG sports exhaust.
The interior of the Mercedes AMG C43 has red stitches with black interior with a AMG badge on the steering wheel giving it a sportier interior, the central console and the instrument cluster is similar to the design that is found in the Mercedes AMG-C63 coupe model.
The Mercedes AMG C43 model stands between the C200 & Mercedes AMG-C63. The Mercedes AMG-C43 is priced in India at Rs. 74.35 lakh. The Mercedes AMG-C43’s competitor is the Audi S4 though it no longer sold in India, its part time competitor will be the Audi S5 Sportback.
