ŠKODA India introduces the Octavia ONYX edition for the Octavia model range after much hype. The ONYX edition will offer a refreshed design, visually differentiating itself. This will happen with the help of new 16” Premia black alloy wheels and black exterior mirrors. In addition, the ONYX edition will sport an attractive body coloured spoiler, new decorative foils and door sills. The design enhancements include dynamic honeycomb air inlets to provide them with more presence. Skoda Octavia OYNX Edition comes equipped with Bi-Xenon Projector headlights, 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, panoramic sunroof, Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS). Skoda Octavia OYNX Edition will be launched in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol will be powered by an incredibly powerful 1.8 TSI 180 BHP petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. Meanwhile the diesel version will be powered by a 2.0 TDI 142 PS engine mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission. The current top-trim of the petrol Octavia is priced at Rs 21.29 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and the top-end diesel variant costs Rs 22.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Expect a 20-25,000 price increase over this and should make the car kitted upto the brim.
