2017 Kawasaki Z250 India launch has been done again with a new BSIV engine and offers mildly tuned engine
Kawasaki has just launched the Z250 back into the Indian market. Them manufacturer claims this is an BSIV engine which has been revised to meet emission and is part of the major plans that the manufacturer has to gain market share in a country which is booming with superbikes. The Z250 will help manufacturer get some volumes as the product is the entry level product and is the cheapest product in their portfolio. Z250 comes with a lot of technology and performance on offer. Let’s have a look at the same time.
Kawasaki Z250 Design and Dimensions
The Z250 comes with a new color scheme on offer. The design remains the same as before. The dual headlights, the sharp and large fuel tank, the tank extensions look edgy and the rear has a minimalist tail-piece along with a small tail-lamp as before. There is large engine belly fairing on offer to make it look more aggressive. Overall, an ideal, very sporty entry level sports bike for your daily viewing pleasure.
Kawasaki Z250 Chassis, suspension and brakes
Chassis wise it continues with the same tubular type frame, telescopic front forks and has a adjustable monoshock at the rear. The tyres are the same at the front which is 110×70 section and the rear has a 140×70 section tyres. Both are slapped on 17-inch wheels. Brakes are 290mm disc at the front and the rear is a 220mm disc brake at the rear. Front is two piston caliper and rear is single piston caliper.
2017 Kawasaki Z250 India Price and Launch
Launched in April 2017, the bike priced have been raised when compared to the launch last time. The Z250 costs 3.09 Lakhs ex-showroom Pune.
2017 Kawasaki Z250 India Engine And Specification
The engine continues to make the same 32 PS of power and 21 Nm of torque from its 2-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The engine is mated to an 6-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki Z250 Safety and Features
There is AHO as always, but this time as well, Z250 continues without ABS. Expect it to come in 2019 only.
