2018 Kawasaki Ninja 300 gets new colors and a price tag of Rs 2.98 lakhs ex-showroom Pan India.
Kawasaki, a Japanese motorcycle brand famous for its Ninja series and ZX-series, is launching an updated version of the Ninja 300 in India. Everything else is the same but The bike gets ABS. Ninja 300 will be in competition with the KTM RC390, Yamaha YZF-R3 and the about to be launched TVS Akula 310, BMW G310R.
The Ninja comes with the same engine as the present bike, a 296cc twin-cylinder engine that produces a power output of 39bhp and a torque of 27Nm. All of this will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox that is linked to the rear wheels by a chain-drive.
The bike is built on the same chassis and suspension. The bike gets telescopic fork setup in the front and the same monoshock suspension at the rear for a smoother ride. The tyres on this bike are also the same, 17-inch alloys with a dimension of 110/70 at the front and a wider 140/70 at the rear. The brakes on this bike are also the same, a 290mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. ABS is now offered.
Now the all new Ninja 300 ABS is available in two colour options namely lime green/ebony and candy plasma blue. The price of the all new Ninja 300 with ABS is INR 298,000 ex-showroom Delhi. Customers doing pre-booking will be given “3 years of warranty offer” on the all new Ninja 300 ABS. This offer will be discontinued without any prior intimation in order to give a worthy benefit to early birds. The bookings are open and customers can visit their nearest showroom for booking.
As we go on to the side profile, the bike’s side profile has a clear resemblance to the Kawasaki Ninja 650, except for the exhaust canister that is new. The new liverly seems very India specific and will grab a lot of attention thanks to the famous large grab rail and saree guard. The bike has been priced at Rs 2.98 lakhs with ABS! Clearly, the good times are here to roll and Make Life A Ride or Ready To Race won’t be entirely happy about it.
