Ducati Scrambler Café Racer India launch after the Desert Sled assures Ducati wants serious numbers and market share in a growing superbike market
Ducati today announces the launch of the Scrambler Café Racer at Rs. 9,32,000 (Ex-showroom, India). The motorcycle is powered by the air and oil-cooled EURO 4-compliant 803 cc twin-cylinder engine. The Desmodue engine delivers 73 hp at 8,250 RPM and a torque of 67 Nm at 5,750 RPM and comes with black-trimmed covers and machined cooling fins.
Scrambler Café Racer is a modern interpretation of the legendary Café Racer scene from the 1960s that triggered a motorcycling revolution. The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer will successfully bring the global cultural phenomenon to India.
Scrambler Café Racer has the design language of the Scrambler brand and a sporty riding position as well. This version features rear-view mirror mounted aluminium clip-on handlebars, Termignoni exhaust with dual tailpipes, black anodized aluminium cover and a dedicated seat featuring a cover for the passenger section. Scrambler Café Racer India launch is a response to one of the motorcycles present in this category worldwide and some of them have made it to India. This motorcycle will go against the likes of BMW R ninety series of motorcycles.
Scrambler Café Racer specifically has cast aluminium 17” wheels with Pirelli DIABLO™ ROSSO II tyres (120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear). The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer comes with a Brembo braking system featuring Bosch 9.1 MP ABS with a pressure sensor. The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer also features a radial-type front brake pump ensuring good braking performance.

The Ducati Scrambler Café Racer is now available in a Black Coffee colour with black frame and gold wheels across all Ducati dealerships.
