Tata Harrier will be the SUV that will take on the likes of Jeep Compass and Mahindra XUV 500 head on
Tata is all aggressive these days and is on a roll in the passenger vehicle segment as well. It has been changing market dynamics with game-changing products and now it wants to do that with its favourite segment where it has a lot of legacies. The manufacturer is known for selling vehicles such as the Aria and Safari which were great on paper and carved brand names but never took off in terms of sales. Now with added technology and class-leading benchmarks, it will do that in the SUV space as well. Hexa, which continues to do rather well will have elder sibling which was termed as the H5X as of now is called the Tata Harrier.
The futuristic-looking Tata Harrier SUV already has the potential to change the game as the pricing is the only thing that needs to get right and they have gotten it right for the past four products. The five product is the Harrier and it is the new market name of the H5X SUV. The manufacturer will make this product go on sale through modern and revised dealerships.

This architecture is derived from the legendary Land Rover D8 architecture and is adapted to suit the Indian conditions by Tata Motors engineers. ‘Tata Harrier’ is truly an SUV that is born of pedigree.
Tata Harrier will have a good amount of marketing coverage that it deserves. The engines and features list are going to be substantial and there are going to be 5 and 7 seater versions. Four wheel drive, automatic gearbox, very likely a Dual clutch unit will make it to the SUV. 2.0 litre engine making around 150-170 BHP will be on offer. Pricing will be around the Rs. 12-16 Lakhs.
