Volvo XC40 Variants include the Momentum and the Inscription variant along with the R-Design variant that was on offer
Volvo Car India confirms bookings for the first 200 compact Luxury SUV XC40 R-Design within a fortnight of launch. This means the special introductory price offer on R-Design has come to a very successful conclusion. Two new variants of the ‘European Car of the Year’ have been opened for bookings with scheduled deliveries later this month – XC40 D4 Momentum priced at INR 39.9 lakhs (ex-showroom) and XC40 D4 Inscription priced at INR 43.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The XC40 R-Design is now available at INR 42.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). This completes the variant line-up of XC40 for this year.
The variants of XC40 is feature rich, even the base model Momentum that gets panoramic Sunroof, AWD, front radar, leather upholstery, 9” centre touchscreen, Hill Descent Control, rear parking Camera among others. A full list of feature comparison between the 3 variants is enclosed.
Martial Motors in Bengaluru has among the highest bookings in the country for the newly launched Volvo XC40. The dealership delivered 12 units of the XC40 today, in August presence of Volvo Car India Managing Director Mr. Charles Frump.
The XC40 is available in the R-Design trim with a 2L 4-Cylinder Twin-Turbo D4 diesel variant producing 190hp and 400Nm of peak Torque. The new generation powertrains are clean and comply with stringent European and Indian emission norms. The powertrain has an 8-Speed Geartronic gearbox and Haldex AWD with different drive modes – Eco, Comfort, Dynamic, Off-Road and Individual modes that provides you a varied choice of settings apt for your luxurious drive to work or an adventurous drive to your weekend destination.

Volvo Cars recorded the best ever H1 with 33% growth in volumes in Jan-June 2018 versus last year. The robust sales performance of 1242 units is spearheaded by the XC60 which contributed 25% of the total volume.
