2019 KTM Duke 250 ABS is a dual channel unit and the price increase is Rs 14,000
ABS time of the year is here and all manufacturers are finally applying it to all motorcycles above the 125cc mark. The manufacturer taking it ahead as early as possible as always is Bajaj’s KTM. The manufacturer just applied single-channel ABS to the Duke 200 which is not switchable. The website says that 2019 does get ABS and it is switchable. 2019 KTM Duke 250 ABS is a dual channel unit.
There isn’t a colour change seen on the bike either which is rather disappointing, just like the Duke 200. The engine and chassis continue to be the same. The 4-valve, liquid-cooled 250cc engine makes 31 PS of power and 24 Nm of torque. Upside down forks, adjustable monshock, MRF tyres and dual channel ABS is part oft he list.
An engine which is tall geared and inspiration and hardware comes from the Duke 390 which was used to make this motorcycle rather than using the Duke 200 engine. 2019 KTM Duke 250 ABS is priced at Rs. 1.94 lakhs ex-showroom. The bike is expensive over its rivals such as the FZ25 and on par with the CBR 250R, but the quintessential Duke riding character and sophisticated hardware makes up for it.
