2016 Ford Endeavour has everything it needs to dethrone its rivals and is backed up Ford’s assurance of affordable ownership and fuss free experience

Ford in India has been always known for the small cars and the compact sedan that it has offered. The Figo the Classic and now the Aspire have all the best products of their time. The value proposition, the feature set, the engine and transmission options and promise of strong ownership experience that it is offering. Ways of that include offering cheap service bills and cars high on dynamics, economy and performance. However, Ford has been always offering a large SUV which has been cult of its time. However time went by and lack of update made it not so pick of the bunch.

Toyota took the crown and made sure it did not leave it for some time. 2017 Ford Endeavour Interiors and Features

The interiors have changed dramatically. Seats are new, dashboard is new and the quality of materials and fit-finish is better. The instrumentation is new as well. Other new features include seamless integration of AppLink™ for a simple way to control smartphone apps, Siri Eyes-Free capability for Apple iPhone and software updates via Wi-Fi can be done. 8-inch touch screen is part of the package.

2017 Ford Endeavour Design and Dimensions

The design is tall wide and long at the same time. A rare combination and something that the customer look forward to in this segment. The SUV is almost five meters long and is shorter than before where the old one was way over five meters in length. The front grille is massive and in your face. The chunky tail lamps and head lamps that have LED and projector headlamps respectively look good. The bumper at the front with skid plate at the front and rear and a new design for alloy wheel overall give it a fresh new look.

2017 Ford Endeavour Engine, Gearbox and Mileage

The engine options are two and so are the gearbox. 2.2 litre with automatic and manual transmission and 3.2 l with an automatic transmission only. The 2.2-litre engine develops 158 BHP of power and 385 Nm of torque. The 3.2-litre engine on the other hand develops 197 BHP and 470 Nm of torque. In the 2.2-litre version claims to deliver a mileage of 14.12 km/l with manual transmission and 12.62 km/l with automatic transmission.

The SUV will continue to offer the ladder on frame setup. Independent coil springs at the front and coil springs with linkage type at the rear available.
