Volkswagen India has just announced its SUVW strategy for 2021 and that will see the brand bring back the Tiguan AllSpace, T-Roc and the Tiguan facelift five-seater for the domestic market. Scheduled to arrive as a CBU under the 2500 homologation-free import provision, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace has just been revealed.
The 2021 VW Tiguan All-Space continues to remain a petrol-only model drawing power from the 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI engine that develops 190PS and 320Nm. The engine is paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic. The Tiguan AllSpace also gets 4Motion all-wheel drive as standard. Volkswagen claims a fuel efficiency figure of 12.5 kmpl on the 2021 Tiguan AllSpace, which is the brand’s flagship offering in India.

Not a lot has changed inside. The model continues with the same feature options. This includes LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, keyless entry, park assist, three-zone climate control, Vienna leather interiors, virtual cockpit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and more. On the safety front, the SUV continues to get seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, auto hold, Hill Descent Control, and lots more.
The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace competes against the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, as well as the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq TSI scheduled for launch later this year. The 2021 Tiguan AllSpace is priced at Rs. 34.20 lakh (ex-showroom India), which makes it marginally more expensive than the 2020 version.
