BMW G310GS India Launch Along With G310R Launched which puts it at a premium over all its rivals

The BMW G 310R and the G 310 GS is one of the most awaited bikes to be launched in the Indian market. The bikes are on sale in many other countries and are being manufactured in India. Motorcycle enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch and also to get their hands over it. Although, BMW has showcased the G310R and the G310 GS in the past two Auto Expos in India, the launch of it has been delayed. However, they are FINALLY are here!!

Customers have pre-booked BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS motorcycles ahead of the official launch for an amount of INR 50,000. Pre-booking can be done at any authorized BMW Motorrad dealership across the country.

Deliveries will be done on a first come first serve basis as per orders. To pre-book the motorcycles, customers can either visit a BMW Motorrad outlet or request a call back simply by filing up an enquiry form online at www.bmw-motorrad.in With the partnership between TVS and BMW-Motorrad, the G310 series has been developed. The highlight which has made our jaws drop is that the traditional GS styling can be seen here. Same color schemes pattern. Tank shrouds, a protruding beak and a large luggage carrier at the back to carry everything you ever need to stay on the road forever (if you wish to)

BMW G310GS Chassis, suspension and brakes

Similar chassis is visible. What we can see is raised USD front fork, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with dual sport tyres. Similar brakes with ABS is most likely to come. Monoshock at the rear is similar but like the front, the rear will be most likely be raised.

G310R Rs. 2.99 Lakhs and G310GS priced at Rs. 3.49 Lakhs – Prices seem just right, but slightly on the premium side.

The engine is set to be the same. The engine will be tuned for mid and low range torque and will compromise slightly on the top-end power most likely. The gearing will be tweaked and so will be the timings of ever single aspect in the engine. Including camshafts, valve trains and much more nerdy stuff that you don’t need to know right now.

BMW Motorrad’s upcoming dealerships in Chandigarh and Kolkata will start accepting bookings of the motorcycles post launch.
