Ola Electric calls upon all electric two-wheeler owners to join its Republic Day Unity Ride. Whether you own an Ola scooter or an Ather, Hero or Okinawa EV, the company wants to put up a united front on behalf of the electric vehicle segment. The event is expected to have thousands of EV owners in attendance and will be the world’s largest EV ride.
The Ola Republic Day Unity Ride will begin at the company’s experience centres pan India. Owners can log on to the company’s website and sign up for the Unity Ride. The ride will begin at 9.30 am and will be about 26 km long.
In its statement, Ola Electric says, “India’s EV revolution has truly taken off and 2023 promises to be the year of the EVs. We are already the world’s second-largest EV 2-wheeler market and we’re only just getting started. India is going to be the epicentre of the global EV revolution to #EndICEage.”
Having begun deliveries of the S1 electric scooter a little over a year ago, Ola has been one of the more successful companies in the EV segment and has sold over 150,000 electric scooters. The company will soon venture further into the electric mobility space with electric cars, electric motorcycles and possibly electric commercial vehicles as well. More details on the future products will be revealed in the coming months.
