Ultraviolette signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 to install electric vehicle charging stations at key HPCL fuel stations across India. The strategic partnership between Ultraviolette and HPCL crucially builds on HPCL’s extensive retail fuel pump infrastructure and reflects a forward-thinking and long-term approach by the two entities to enable cross-country EV Motorcycle travel.
Ultraviolette’s F77 Electric Motorcycles offer an IDC range of 307 KM on a single charge, the highest by any electric two-wheeler in India, letting riders engage in intercity rides and long-distance adventures. This pioneering collaboration between Ultraviolette and HPCL marks another significant leap forward in facilitating seamless long-distance electric motorcycle travel throughout the nation, presenting a promising opportunity for Ultraviolette motorcycle owners to explore the vast expanse of the country with unprecedented ease and convenience.
Under the first phase of this strategic partnership, Ultraviolette will be setting up charging stations at HPCL retail fuel pumps in 12 select states, followed by expansion across the country. Ultraviolette’s fast charging stations will strategically cover not only National Highways and State highways but also the most remote locations, leveraging HPCL’s vast network of retail fuel pumps across geography of India and enable Ultraviolette’s EV bikers to travel much longer distances in lesser time.
