Mahindra Drives in its new electric City Smart Car, which is now called the e2oPlus. Four Door Electric Car marks Mahindra’s entry into the mass-market electric hatch back segment. Four Door Electric Car E20 Plus is set to provide a range of up to 140 kms in the top end variant. Four Door Electric Car E20 Plus can achieve a top speed of 85 km/hr. The latest electric drive train technology from Mahindra Electric has been used to make it more efficient in every way.

The tall-boy design seen here lends a spacious interiors make for a compact city car that can seat four adults. Direct Drive Transmission operates without a conventional gear box and that means no clutch. Running costs of just 70p/km, the e2oPlus is segment best when compared for running costs. The 10 on-board computers that track around 196 performance and health related parameters to ensure that any possible snag is fixed as soon as it crops up.

The host of innovative features include remote diagnostics through telematics, Reverse Camera, connectivity through smart phone app, new and advanced infotainment system and regenerative braking. There is also Hill Hold control, REVive® a trademark name for reserve charge that can be used for last minute battery life. Charging the e2o Plus is as simple as charging a mobile phone.

The e2o Plus app informs on the nearest charging station in order to ensures hassle free drive through the city. Customers can choose between 4 trim levels (P2, P4, P6, P8) and four colours named as Coral Blue, Sparkling Wine, Arctic Silver and Solid White. Price starts at Rs.5.46 lakhs (The P4 variant ex-showroom Delhi, post state subsidy and FAME incentive by the government)
