MG Motor has released teaser images of the new ZS SUV ahead of its official launch on August 26th, giving a glimpse into the next-generation model. The new ZS, which will be launched first in Australia, features a redesigned exterior and interior, as well as a range of advanced features.
The teaser images show a more aggressive front end with projector headlights, integrated LED daytime running lights and a large bonnet. The distinctive oval radiator grille gives the car a modern and elegant impression. The overall design is consistent with the latest HS SUVs, showcasing a contemporary and stylish aesthetic.
While specific details are yet to be revealed, the ZS is expected to offer an improved cabin with features such as dual screens, power front seats, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera and an updated ADAS suite. These upgrades are aimed at providing a comfortable and technologically advanced driving experience.
MG has confirmed that the new ZS will be launched with a petrol hybrid powertrain in the Australian market. Additional powertrain options are also expected, including a turbocharged-only petrol engine and an all-electric version.
After its Australian debut, the next-generation MG ZS is expected to be launched in other countries, including India, sometime next year. It’s not yet clear which version will be launched in India, but it will likely be either the ZS or the MG VS, which is currently on sale in Indonesia.
In addition to the ZS, MG Motor India is also gearing up to unveil the Windsor EV on September 11. Pricing for the electric car is also expected to be announced the same day.
