2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE has completely revised exteriors and looses the tall stance and will be based on a brand new architecture
There is no stopping Mercedes-Benz worldwide from world domination when it comes increasing its sales, desirability of the vehicles. German brand is all set to come up with products in all categories and offer them throughout the world in various forms and specific demand. Indians love their SUV and so does the rest of the world as of now as well. Diesel is the fuel choice and hence we get them in India. GLE is one important product for the brand and today it has been spotted for the first time in an all new avatar, which is set to happen almost after a decade.
This will be the first time, in the year 2020, that is, according to report that we will see a completely re-designed GLE. The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE will be based on the E-Class platform, but the platform itself is going to be revised which is known as the MHA platform. The SUV seen here has lost its tall stance and is now surely wider, longer and is sleeker than before. The roof is all black, we think it can be a carbon fibre roof to keep the weight down and could get a panoramic sunroof, which will come with the car as well.
2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE will come to India by the year 2020, international launch will mostly happen earlier in the year 2019. If the fuel quality goes up we can finally expect the 2.0 litre all new all-aluminium diesel engine which makes more power, torque and is mated a 9-speed gearbox. All of this also improves the efficiency and emission levels of the car. We can also say it will get a V6 petrol engine as well given the diesel uncertainty which could go in the future also. There are a lot of information to come over the years, so stay tuned!
