All New 2018 VW Vento Spied Testing For The First Time will finally replace the ageing car here which still manages good numbers
Volkswagen is ramping up its Asian plans to make sure the diesel gate does no get away with market share that it has here. The manufacturer is making all new small cars on a new platform called entry level ‘A0’ version of the Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform that it has. The sedan is expected to have weight savings and more to offer in every other regard. The car spied in Brazil is called the Voyage but here in India it is called the Vento. Spotted testing for the first time, the car well could be the next big thing here in India. Let’s have a look at what is seen and what can be expected.
All New 2018 VW Vento Design and Dimensions
The car seen here has a new bonnet, headlamps, grille design, a new c-pillar kink that will help the side profile look different, the rear is more substantial, we expect bigger tail-lamps. The side profile is already longer as it hints for a longer wheelbase than before. Expect the car to measure under the 4.5 meter mark.
All New 2018 VW Vento Interior and Features
Expect good quality interior as before. Features list will be everything that is already offered but it will have more to offer. Apple Car Play, Android Auto, climate control, steering mounted controls, parking sensors and much more as usual on offer. Space should be the highlight of the package as it will offer more legroom and boot space most likely.
All New 2018 VW Vento Price and Launch
Expect it to begin around Rs. 8 lakhs and end around Rs. 12-13 Lakhs. Launch could happen in late 2018.
All New 2018 VW Vento Engine And Specification
The engines on offer in India could be what we see right now. 1.2 TSi turbo petrol with DSG, 1.5 TDi with 110 PS that will come with manual and automatic gearbox. 1.0 litre turbo petrol is rumored for Indian VW small cars and it could make it with a manual gearbox. A 1.4 TSi is in the talk also.

Dual airbags and ABS will be standard. Expect six airbags on top trims along with couple of passive electronic features
