Today, the sketch is out and it shows what the car pretty much can look like. Radical pillars, lines and design elements all around make it look attractive, not pretty. We will have to wait for the production version but given the silhouette is all new and the elements look production ready, it should be a great car to look at. Just don’t expect the wheel gap in the arches and wheel size to be the same on the production-spec car.
Hyundai has enhanced the dimensions of the all-new Hyundai VERNA that now offers best in segment wheelbase of 2 670 mm as well as segment best width of 1 765 mm. The enhancement of 70 mm in its wheelbase and increase of 36 mm of width has led to an increase in overall cabin roominess.

All New 2023 Hyundai Verna has been equipped with a range of 4 powertrains. HMI has equipped the all-new Hyundai VERNA with a new, sporty and thrilling 1.5 Turbo GDi Petrol engine that is available with 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) and 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (7DCT). These powertrains are geared to churn out maximum power and torque performance that will set a new benchmark in this segment. Hyundai is also offering the proven and reliable 1.5 MPi Petrol engine that is available with 6MT and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). All this makes it four and this marks the lack of diesel option for now in the Verna. There is hope it could come next year, but given the fact that every sedan is all petrol lineup in the segment with diesel seeing no demand, this could be the end in the Verna diesel too. Verna diesel loyalists from across the country, especially North India will criticize this move. The range of powertrains are RDE-compliant and eco-friendly engines that are also E20 fuel ready.
