Honda launched the Honda WR-V in Jakarta on November 2, 2022. This latest product is Honda’s first model in the Small SUV segment in Indonesia, combining the distinctive character of Honda’s SUV that has performance and technology leading edge with a more compact design and a more sporty style.
The Honda WR-V was developed from the Honda SUV RS Concept which is a Compact SUV with a more sporty character typical of the RS variant from Honda. This concept has also previously been realized through the RS variant which was first present in an SUV model through the All New Honda HR-V which was launched in Indonesia in March 2022. The full implementation of this concept then came through the mass production model of the Honda WR-V which had been displayed with camouflage stickers at automotive exhibitions and roadshows in various regions in Indonesia, which has also been very enthusiastically received by consumers.
Prior to its launch, the Honda WR-V had gone through a series of consumer research and underwent tests on various road conditions in Indonesia.
