Our first annual award results are finally here! This is where we tell you which is the best vehicle, two and four-wheel we drove that is worthy of this recognition. We want it to be authentic and unbiased. While we succeeded in doing that, thank you for your votes.
We had to delay the results. As soon as we announced the awards, the second wave of lockdowns hit the nation and we had to take a step back. Pending tests mean, the awards were delayed further. Today, we have the results and we are happy to share them with you. Some awards are quite obvious and some surprised us too!

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is your choice of the two-wheeler of the year and we could not agree enough with you. The motorcycle changed the way we look at Royal Enfield. High on quality, refinement and character is something hard to get together. Again, a stellar product delivered by an Indian manufacturer made the public and critics go wow.

The Nexon EV is a game-changer in the Indian EV space. Tata saw, Tata came and Tata conquered the market. So much so, it is now the default name in the EV category. The perfect pricing, the following subsidies, and the solid performance and safety record are helping Tata climb the sales chart like no other. Other manufacturers are still catching up!

With the highest votes despite everyday motorcycles in the same space for you guys to vote. The BMW R18 has won this award by a big margin! The R18 is downright charming and one of the best cruiser motorcycles out there. The sheer love for cruisers in the Indian market, be it Rs 1.0 lakh segment of Rs. 22 lakhs. Motorcycles like these continue to be bedroom wallpaper worthy for today’s generation and hence it sweeps this award easily.

Surprisingly, Land Rover has bagged this award for not the stylish Evoque, but for the mighty Defender. Readers seem excited for legendary icon coming back and then as it lands on Indian shores, it takes the prospective customers and enthusiasts by storm with its unwavering brute attitude and the endless capability it has to offer. It did leave us spellbound with its ability too. A true winner for the reader’s premium car category then!

Just when we started road testing the KTM Adventure 390, the world came to a halt. We ended up spending a lot of time and KTM also made us experience the KTM ADV 390 in a place that was far more challenging than the bike will ever go to. All this impressed us together and we could not resist giving this award to the motorcycle which is again giving motorcyclists what they always wanted just like it did back in 2013 when it came to life as a naked streetfighter.

The Thar is an icon and needs no introduction. The legendary come back in the Indian market was a big success. Mahindra worked hard to get the best out of this lifestyle vehicle and delivered it in a stellar manner. After test driving it multiple times, we were bowled over and still cannot get over it. Befitting of the 2020 ThrustZone’s Four Wheeler Of The Year Award.

The Street Triple 765 comes in two variants and it has impressed us with its ride and handling, fantastic engine, and sheer capability to be so much fun and easy to live with. We at ThrustZone decided to give away this award to a motorcycle which jump-started this segment in the Indian market and now is the true benchmark that every motorcycle has to go through!

Ather’s 450X is truly a complete package. It scores really well in the way it has been made and how the design has turned out to be. With charging infrastructure plans on their mind, Ather clearly delivers to customers and impresses us and hence our award goes to the Ather 450x.

It is difficult, but the car we drove was an FWD BMW and yet it won our hearts almost instantly, left our jaws dropped too. Never ever we thought we could come to a conclusion like this! BMW 2 Series wins our Premium Car of the year award for being a great package, be it design, the way things were rolled in together to make it the perfect package for its prospective customers.
