Benelli Leoncino 500 India Launch done at an attractive price tag of Rs. 4.79 lakhs
Italian Motorcycle maker Benelli is coming up with a couple of product launches for the Indian market. Benelli Leoncino 500 India Launch is now done after the TRK twins. The motorcycle was first showcased at the EICMA Motorcycle Show last year. The company has three products planned which will be coming later this year. We have all the details here.
Benelli Leoncino Design and Dimensions
The Leoncino Scrambler comes with design features including a lean front fender with 3D lion mascot, twin-petal discs, projector headlamp with glossy black housing, curvy fuel tank, stubby mudguard, cantilevered tailpiece and black finished chassis and cycle parts. The retro-styled round headlamps with the U-shaped LED DRL, LED turn indicators and tail lamp butters up the essential bodywork, bolted on the steel trellis frame.
Benelli Leoncino 500 India – Chassis, suspension and brakes
The bike gets 50 mm USD front forks and a pre-load adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear, whereas braking is handled by a 320mm front and 260mm rear disc brakes with radial mounted callipers, while ABS is offered as standard. The Benelli Leoncino will be offered in one street variant. The Leoncinco Trail will have 19-inch front wheels (17-inch on Standard), spoke wheels and off-road tyres for trail riding. The fuel tank capacity stands at 13.5 litres for the Standard model.
Benelli Leoncino India – Engine And Specification
The Scrambler shares the same engine as the TRK 502, but is based on a completely new platform and carries a premium body design. The motorcycle is powered by a 499.6 cc, twin cylinder motor producing 47 bhp and 45 Nm of peak torque and the engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle weighs around 170 kg.
Benelli Leoncino – Safety and Features
The Scrambler gets a digital instrument console, twin pipe exhaust muffler, well-shaped and crafted seat and knobby tyres are part of the list. ABS will come as standard.
2017 Benelli Leoncino India – Price and Launch
The bike is launched in August 2019 for 4.79 Lakhs and bookings are open for Rs 10,000. There is a five-year unlimited-kilometre warranty as standard.
